Shortly after hearing his name called Thursday night, Campbell proclaimed on stage he was ready to “fight and die” to keep his quarterback clean.
As Campbell knows his duty on the field, the 21-year-old knows how important it will be for him to connect with Maye off the field as well.
“That’s my quarterback,” Campbell said inside Gillette Stadium Friday. “I’m just super excited to continue to build the relationship with him, get to know each other as people.
