The New England Patriots will be short additional two against the Buffalo Bills on New Year’s Eve.
Veteran safety Jabrill Peppers and rookie wide receiver Kayshon Boutte have been downgraded to out for Sunday’s matchup at Highmark Stadium, the organization announced.
Peppers, 28, returned as a limited participant on Friday and was ruled questionable after being sidelined for five practices because of a hamstring injury. He missed Christmas Eve’s 26-23 win over the Denver Broncos at Mile High, marking his first trip to the inactives since landing in Foxborough as an unrestricted free agent in 2022.
