This offseason, the New England Patriots, with a ton of cap space and new leadership in executive vice president of player personnel Eliot Wolf and head coach Jerod Mayo, have been handing out extensions left and right.
However, one player hasn't gotten paid yet and clearly wants to - defensive lineman Davon Godchaux.
Godchaux, 30, is in the final year of his contract with an $11.8 million cap hit ($7.15 million in base salary). He recently sat on the sidelines during both minicamp sessions, and Mayo acknowledged that the defensive lineman is looking for a new deal.
