Patriots defensive line coach Brendan Daly to join Chiefs coaching staff

The Patriots will be losing another key member of the coaching staff as defensive line coach Brendan Daly, who will join Andy Reid’s staff in Kansas City.

Daly, who has been with the Patriots since 2014 and the defensive line coach since 2015, will assume a similar position with the Chiefs, according to a league source.

Daly’s wife, Keely, is from the Kansas City area. He began his coaching career as a high school assistant in Florida in 1997 and made college stops at Drake, Villanova, Maryland, Oklahoma State, and Illinois State before beginning his NFL career in 2006 with the Vikings.
