Patriots Debut Minor Changes To Uniforms Against Bengals

The Patriots will debut a minor tweak to their uniforms in Sunday's season-opening matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals at Paycor Stadium.

New England made the long-awaited addition of some regalia to its kit this season, with new head coach Jerod Mayo announcing his captains would wear patches that have become the standard around the NFL.

David Andrews, Jabrill Peppers, Jacoby Brissett, Joe Cardona, Ja'Whaun Bentley and Deatrich Wise Jr. were selected by their peers to captain the ship, and will debut with the "C" on their jerseys Sunday.

Mayo was a team captain during his playing career, sharing that he recognized the value of displaying the honor for deserving players.
