The Brandin Cooks era is over after one season in New England.
The Patriots dealt the receiver to the Los Angeles Rams on Tuesday, a source said. The deal includes New England also sending a fourth-round pick in return for the 23rd overall selection in the first round and a sixth-round pick.
Cooks, 24, was acquired last spring from New Orleans for the 32nd overall pick in last year's draft. He caught 65 passes for 1,082 yards in his lone season with the Patriots, but was entering the final year of his contract.
