FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Defensive end Rob Ninkovich has been one of the key cogs for the New England Patriots since joining the team in 2009, and he holds himself to a high standard. That much was evident Wednesday.
"Working on myself, I feel like I haven't played my best ball yet," Ninkovich told reporters.
Ninkovich's self-evaluation came when he was asked a question about "human emotion" and if it plays a factor certain weeks in getting up for games.
Through four games, Ninkovich has played 225 snaps (82.1 percent) and has been credited with nine tackles, one sack and one pass defended.
