A new wave of defensive linemen have arrived in New England, and there will likely be more on the way.
The Patriots are re-facing their defensive front. That process started last week when they acquired Kony Ealy from the Panthers and signed former Raven Lawrence Guy to a four-year contract worth up to $19 million. They’ll likely continue to add reinforcements next month by targeting a talented draft class.
As much as the Patriots hoped to reel in talent, the defending Super Bowl champions’ recruiting pitch also speaks for itself.
“You can’t really pass up an opportunity to play for the Patriots,” Guy said Thursday.
