New England signed rookie wideout JaQuae Jackson — as MassLive reported earlier — and released T.J. Luther in a corresponding move. The 24-year-old Luther spent most of the 2023 season on the Patriots practice squad and had signed a futures contract in January, but never dressed for a game.
