The New England Patriots are reportedly waiving former Pro Bowl linebacker Yannick Ngakoue, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
It's a move that comes less than two months after the Patriots claimed Ngakoue on waivers, following his release by the Baltimore Ravens. He appeared in six games for New England and played in 39 percent of the defensive snaps for the team.
There was hope that he could help spark the stagnant pass rush, but like many of the Patriots' moves this season, it didn't work out the way the team expected.
Parting ways now is a win-win for both sides.
