The New England Patriots still have a ton of cap space to play with after their initial wave of free-agent signings. What could their next move be?
Per Over The Cap, the Patriots still have over $100 million remaining in 2025 cap room, even after handing out lucrative contracts to Milton Williams, Carlton Davis, Harold Landry, and Morgan Moses. The team with the next-most cap space for the upcoming season is the Los Angeles Chargers with $83 million.
Of course, the Patriots don't have to spend all that money now, and they have to be cognizant of overloading their payroll with backloaded contracts (such as Williams' and Davis').
