The Patriots already know who their starting running back will be next season.
Rhamondre Stevenson is coming off a fantastic year where he looked like the Patriots most dynamic offensive player. He became the Patriots first 1,000-yard rusher since LeGarrette Blount in 2016 when he finished with a career-high 1,040 yards. On top of that, Stevenson caught 69 passes for 421 yards.
Clearly, Stevenson can do it all as a running back. However, that doesn’t mean he can do it all alone.
It was noticeable that Stevenson wore down as the 2022 season came to a close.
