The Patriots have continued their assault against the NFL by releasing a chain of emails from February on their website, WellsReportContext.com.
In the emails, the team asked the NFL to publicly correct ESPN's report, which has since been proven false, stating 11 of the 12 balls from the AFC Championship Game were at least 2 psi below the minimum level. However, the NFL sidestepped the requests by deferring to a number of excuses, including Ted Wells' pending investigation.
Patriots general counsel Robyn Glaser plead NFL general counsel Jeff Pash to issue a public statement to clear the team's name when the public perception had painted the Patriots in an unfavorable and guilty light.
