Joe Judge is not a doctor. He’s a football coach -- and an assistant one at that. So he doesn’t have a lot of say when Mac Jones can return to the field from his ankle injury.
Instead, the New England Patriots quarterback coach said Tuesday that his focus is making sure Jones is ready to go whenever he is medically cleared to return to the field. With that said, Judge did give an update on how Jones has been doing since he’s been out of the lineup.
“Well, I’m not the doctors, and I’m not the head coach, so those decisions are above my head,” Judge said.
