David Andrews has snapped the ball to Mac Jones for almost every play of the former Alabama quarterback’s NFL career, and the New England Patriots center has noted one problem with the signal-caller.
“He’s got one just cryptic flaw – going to Alabama,” Andrews said on Friday. “But that’s about it.”
Andrews is a Georgia alumnus, and he enjoyed the Bulldogs’ No. 1 ranking in the AP Poll last week and victory over Alabama in the CFP national championship game last season, particularly with former Crimson Tide standouts Jones, Christian Barmore, Damien Harris, Anfernee Jennings and Mack Wilson on the New England active roster with him.
