DENVER -- New England Patriots rookie cornerback Cyrus Jones, the team's top draft pick who struggled on punt returns in Monday's win over Baltimore, is a healthy scratch for Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos at Sports Authority Field at Mile High (4:25 p.m. ET).
The second-round draft choice out of Alabama (60th overall) has five fumbles/muffs on punt returns this season, with his most recent coming against Baltimore and proving to help the Ravens get back into the game in the third quarter.
With Jones inactive, the Patriots had receiver Julian Edelman and safety Patrick Chung warmup up as punt returners.
