Patriots bringing aboard DT Ishmaa'ily Kitchen to add depth

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- One day after placing defensive tackle Dominique Easley on season-ending injured reserve, the New England Patriots are signing free-agent defensive tackle Ishmaa'ily Kitchen to add depth at the position.

While the signing is not yet official, the 6-foot-1, 330-pound Kitchen was present in the team's locker room Wednesday and dressing for practice.

Kitchen, who attended Kent State, played for the Browns from 2012-2014. In 2013 the Browns' general manager was Michael Lombardi, who currently serves as an assistant to the Patriots' coaching staff.
