In order to fill out the 53-Man Roster, the Patriots will call up Chris Barker from the practice squad. It is expected that he will dress for the game, because why call him up if you don't? Barker played mostly left tackle in the preseason, but is more of an interior OL than an OT. With the Patriots thin on the offensive line, particularly on the edges, this move gives them an emergency player in case the crap hits the fan. Barker initially joined the Patriots in 2013 on a waiver claim and was stashed on the 53-man roster that season.
