FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- The New England Patriots had third-year defensive lineman Jeoffrey Pagan, who played at the University of Alabama before spending the 2014 and 2015 seasons with the Houston Texans, in for a workout on Tuesday.
The 6-foot-3, 310-pound Pagan entered the NFL as a sixth-round pick of the Texans in 2014. He appeared in all 16 games as a rookie (10 tackles) and then played in six games the following season (1 tackle).
Pagan had been with the Texans -- who have strong Patriots ties on their coaching staff with Bill O'Brien and Romeo Crennel -- through Sept.
