Patriots’ Bill Belichick responds to NFL punishment

Last week, the New England Patriots were docked two days of voluntary organized activities for a violation of offseason rules.

Those practices were supposed to take place May 25 and May 30, which fell on the Thursday prior to and the Tuesday after Memorial Day Weekend.

So head coach Bill Belichick made use of his time off.

“Had a good long weekend,” Belichick said, via Jeremy Layton of the New York Post.

According to Boston Sports Journal, special teams meeting were conducted that resulted in offense and defense players to be at the Patriots’ facility longer than the maximum four hours.
