Heading into the 2016 offseason, the Patriots will be looking to free up as much money under the salary cap as possible in an effort to try and acquire some key free agents (and look ahead to retaining some free-agents-to-be). Fortunately, there's a healthy population that the team has signed on the cheap.
Most of these guys are still on their rookie deals or were signed as no-name free agents. A couple, though, are key contributors that the Patriots have for way below market value.
NOTE: This is just for 2016. Some of these players are due for big pay days moving forward.
