Some observations and thoughts from the New England Patriots’ preseason finale out in the desert against the Las Vegas Raiders as we go through the entire game:
– The Patriots were without a few players on Thursday night, with Damien Harris, Devin Asiasi, and Shaun Wade sitting out the finale. Also missing were Kristian Wilkerson, Bill Murray and Harvey Langi. Wilkerson suffered a concussion during joint sessions last week against Carolina, which sparked one of multiple scuffles between the two clubs, so his absence wasn’t unexpected.
