The New England Patriots have quietly updated the title of assistant coach Evan Rothstein. While he was previously listed as assistant quarterbacks coach, he now also serves as the team’s director of game management.
Rothstein is entering his fourth season with the Patriots. He originally joined the club alongside his former head coach, Matt Patricia, from the Detroit Lions in 2021.
Originally starting out in research and analysis, Rothstein became an offensive assistant position in his second year with the club. In 2023, he was made assistant quarterbacks coach under offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien.
