Patriots asked NFL to reinstate John Jastremski, Jim McNally on Monday

The battle continues.

The Patriots asked the NFL on Monday to reinstate locker room attendants John Jastremski and Jim McNally. And after multiple requests to the league, including letters to Troy Vincent and Jeff Pash, the NFL finally acknowledged this morning it has received the request. The NFL still has not ruled on it.

Jastremski is a full-time employee who takes care of the Patriots' locker room. McNally is a part-time, game-day attendant for the officials.

The origin of their suspensions is a matter of semantics. During the Deflategate investigation, the NFL essentially asked the Patriots, are you going to suspend Jastremski and McNally or should the league do it?
