The Patriots had a day off from training camp today, but that didn't stop them from making a few moves.
First off, they claimed guard Harland Gunn off waivers from Atlanta, making that move, which was known about yesterday, official. Gunn, a 6-foot-2, 310-pound offensive lineman, had appeared in 13 games for the Falcons over the course of the last two seasons. He had been released by the team on Saturday.
Gunn's arrival comes on the heels of the release of offensive lineman Kevin Hughes, who appeared to injury a shoulder during Saturday's workout. So Gunn maintains depth at the position.
