Rarely is anything remotely new or interesting introduced to the convo. There’s the hardline “never give a running back a dime after their rookie contract”, on the other side there’s... Jerry Jones and the Browns, I guess, who were more than happy to give a bag to Ezekiel Elliott and Nick Chubb, respectively. And everyone else, like most of us, usually fall somewhere in the realm of “well, I mean, if they’re really good, yeah, that’s cool, I guess”, same as any other position on the football field.
