If there’s one thing that the New England Patriots are going to do better in 2020 than in 2019 on offense, it’s going to be running the football.
The Pats ranked just 18th out of 32 teams in rushing yards per game last season. Even more worrisome, they were one of just nine squads that averaged less than 4.0 yards per team carry all season long — and they were the only playoff qualifier from that ignominious group (unsurprisingly).
