Patriots add depth to TE, CB spots

The Patriots continue to stock up on quality depth by trying to ensure they won’t thin out at tight end and boosting their veteran presence in the defensive backfield.

Tight end Clay Harbor signed with the Pats yesterday, according to a source. Harbor worked out for the team on March 10, so he has been on the radar for three weeks.

The Pats also signed cornerback E.J. Biggers to boost the camp competition at the position.

Harbor, who turns 29 in July, spent three seasons with both the Eagles (2010-12) and Jaguars (2013-15), and has caught 111 passes for 1,151 yards and eight touchdowns in his career.
