The New England Patriots players and coaches may be going through their organized team activities in preparation for the season, but new executive vice president of player personnel Eliot Wolf is still busy adding people to his front office.
According to 247Sports, New England has hired former Miami Hurricanes recruiting staffer Landon Simpson for a scouting role with the team.
Simpson spent the last two years as Miami's player personnel coordinator and recruiting analyst after working at Texas State and Texas A&M.
With the Patriots, he'll reunite with Alonzo Highsmith, who was the general manager of football operations at Miami for the last two seasons.
