The New England Patriots went from one available tight end on Monday to potential four this week after a flurry of roster moves.
On Tuesday, the Patriots announced a series of acquisitions at the tight end position. The team officially claimed tight end Jordan Thomas off of waivers. Additionally, the team signed Dylan Cantrell and David Wells to the practice squad.
The move comes after the team placed rookie tight ends Dalton Keene and Devin Asiasi on injured reserve over the past week, leaving veteran Ryan Izzo as the only available tight end.
