The New England Patriots activated quarterback Jarrett Stidham off the physically unable to perform list on Tuesday, as first reported by ESPN’s Field Yates.
The 2019 fourth-round pick saw his 21-day practice window open on Oct. 20, along with defensive tackle Byron Cowart.
Stidham began training camp on New England’s PUP list after undergoing back surgery. He now rejoins rookie starter Mac Jones and veteran Brian Hoyer on the quarterback depth chart while Garrett Gilbert resides on the practice squad.
The 25-year-old by way of Baylor and Auburn has appeared in eight NFL games, going 24-of-48 passing for 270 yards with two touchdowns and four interceptions.
