The New England Patriots made a series of roster moves on Saturday, including the activation of starting center David Andrews.
Andrews was placed on the injured reserve list with a hand injury prior to Week 3 and had to stay on the list for a minimum of three weeks. His presence is much-needed after a complete mess on the offensive line in Week 7 agains the Denver Broncos.
New England elevated outside linebacker Tashawn Bower and defensive lineman Nick Thurman to the 53-man roster from the practice squad. Bower will make his Patriots debut, as he replaces Derek Rivers, who will miss the Week 7 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers with a back injury.
