FOXBORO -- The final day of the draft hasn't even begun yet, and the Patriots already made a trade.
They acquired tight end James O'Shaughnessy and the 216th pick from the Chiefs in exchange for the 183rd pick. The Pats' three remaining picks now include Nos. 131, 216 and 239.
O'Shaughnessy has eight catches for 86 yards in two seasons, including two catches for negative-1 yard in 2016. He'll compete with Matt Lengel, Mike Williams and Rob Housler for the third spot on the tight end depth chart.
