The New England Patriots' defensive front hasn't been the best in the NFL this season, as they've allowed 124.7 rushing yards per game (19th) and have recorded sacks on just 6.32% of drop-backs (24th).
While New England just got Christian Barmore after his battle with blood clots, they at least have him and Davon Godchaux locked up in the middle for the 2025 season. However, the same can't be said about Daniel Ekuale, who is set to hit free agency.
This season, Ekuale has appeared in and started 12 of the team's 13 games, setting a new career-high in tackles (40) while recording three quarterback hits and a sack.
