There was no rest for the New England Patriots on Saturday as the team stepped on the field for their ninth training camp practice. The first preseason game is less than a week away, and the coaching staff is putting a plan in place for that game.
They focused heavily on the run game in this practice, and they also sped things up with work on the two-minute drill. This follows up multiple periods of red zone work. So the Patriots are clearly focusing in on situational football.
Former Patriots cornerback Jason McCourty was a special guest at Saturday's practice.
