Coming off their worst season in 20 years, the New England Patriots embarked on an aggressive offseason. Not only did they spend considerable resources in free agency to attack the weaknesses that were exposed during their 7-9 campaign, they also made a huge investment for the future by selecting a quarterback in the first round of the NFL Draft.
Whether or not the Mac Jones era will begin in 2021 or at a later point remains to be seen, but one thing is certain regardless of what happens at quarterback: the upcoming season will be an intriguing one for a New England team trying to bounce back and position itself in the playoff race once again.
