In 1994, Robert Kraft bought the New England Patriots for a then-record sum of $172 million. The purchase has definitely paid off for Kraft, as his team sold out every single home game since: 239 straight games over the course of 23 seasons (including preseason, regular season and postseason).
Tickets for the Patriots' games have obviously been a hot commodity the last 20+ years.
Of course, this holds true for the upcoming 2016 season as well. As the team announced yesterday, a limited number of individual game tickets will be put on the market on Thursday, July 14, 10:00 am ET – and one needs to buy quickly in order to get some.
