In the span of just a few hours, we have the Philadelphia Eagles' trading up to the No. 2 of the NFL Draft, which was the early frontrunner for most surprising news of the day. However, with the announcement that the Carolina Panthers have rescinded the franchise tag on cornerback Josh Norman, making him an unrestricted free agent, suddenly the news out of Philly isn't as exciting.
Norman was one of the best corners in the NFL last year, posting a remarkable 54 passer rating against in 2015 (1st in the NFL).
