FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Bill Belichick previously described the New England Patriots' tight end position as “probably as good, overall from top to bottom, as we’ve ever had.” On Tuesday, however, there were only a few tight ends available to finish practice as Rob Gronkowski was held out after sustaining an injury that didn’t appear serious Monday, and veteran Clay Harbor was shaken up during Tuesday’s workout.
Add in that undrafted rookie Bryce Williams remains out of practice, which left just Martellus Bennett, AJ Derby and undrafted Steven Scheu on the field.
