Tom Brady took the field during Thursday night’s game against the Packers to the delight of fans who were on hand to see him play, but it didn’t quite go the way he probably hoped.
Brady and the offense struggled in the two series that he was out there, with the veteran completing just 1-of-4 of his passes on a night that saw him without his top targets in Julian Edelman, Rob Gronkowski, Brandon LaFell.
With those players sidelined, Josh Boyce got most of the attention and the two couldn’t connect, with Brady overthrowing him on his first pass attempt and then Boyce unable to come down and hold on to another.
