No touchdown, but Josh Gordon continues to shine for Patriots

Patriots wide receiver Josh Gordon hauled in each of his targets against the New York Jets to collect a team-high five catches Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium.

Gordon’s receptions totaled 70 yards of offense for the Patriots, who topped the Jets, 27-13, and improved to 8-3. New England’s rushing corps posted a season-high 215 yards on 36 carries, which Gordon said opened the game up for the rest of the team. Eight Patriots recorded at least one reception.

“It takes pressure off the entire offense,” Gordon said of the running game. “It was good to have [offensive guard] Shaq Mason back in the lineup, I think that attributed to a lot of it.
