Former New England Patriots cornerback Stephon Gilmore had high praise for Christian Gonzalez ahead of his second NFL season.
Gilmore was a superstar for the Patriots in his own right. He won the 2019 NFL Defensive Player of the Year award and was able to tally 11 interceptions in four years with the Patriots. This included six interceptions in his career-defining 2019 season.
Now, he is watching the next generation of corners begin to make their mark on the league. Gilmore claimed he knew that Gonzalez was going to be a big-time playmaker early on.
