Nic Scourton becomes latest edge prospect visiting with Patriots before NFL Draft

The New England Patriots are expressing a keen interest in this year’s defensive edge class. After already setting up pre-draft visits with Penn State’s Abdul Carter and UCLA’s Oluwafemi Oladejo, they are now set to host a third player at the position at Gillette Stadium.

Nic Scourton, who split his college career between Purdue and Texas A&M, is set to take a 30 visit with the club “in the coming weeks.” Ryan Fowler of the Draft Network was first to report the upcoming meeting.

Scourton, 20, projects as a late first- or early second-round selection in this month’s draft.
