The New England Patriots got a much needed respite last weekend. No, they didn’t have a bye week, that’s not until mid-December, they just got to play the New York Jets. Bill Belichick’s squad put in a 54-point performance, and for the first time in 2021, didn’t come out and play to the level of their competition. Instead we finally saw them start to put things together on both sides of the ball.
It was a good thing that they started to piece those things together, because this week they head out to California to take on an extremely talented Los Angeles Chargers team, who got a rest of their own in the form of their bye week.
