The New England Patriots have spent the 2020 season with two kickers: Nick Folk on the active roster and rookie Justin Rohrwasser on the practice squad.
They've reportedly added a third kicker to the mix.
Field Yates of ESPN reported Saturday the Patriots are signing former Tampa Bay Buccaneers kicker Roberto Aguayo to their practice squad. Aguayo was selected by the Bucs in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
The 26-year-old has since turned out to be a major draft bust. Aguayo hasn't played in an NFL game since that '16 season, when he converted only 22 of his 31 field goal attempts and 32 of his 34 PATs.
