Time for a game of “What If?”
Boston Sports Journal’s Greg Bedard reports New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels could leave Foxborough, Mass. to take the head coach job with the Las Vegas Raiders.
“The possibility of him leaving is very real but it’s far from imminent. From what I understand, McDaniels is still in the research stage about the job but he’s intrigued about the possible setup there, especially if Dave Ziegler gets the GM job.”
That leads Bedard to speculate that “If McDaniels were to leave, I think Bill O’Brien slots in perfectly and that would be great news for Mac Jones.
