The league said Friday it would look deeper into why the Patriots and Steelers experienced problems with their headsets in Thursday's season-opening win for New England.
"Technological and stadium infrastructure issues of this type happen at many stadiums around the league and whenever there are issues of this nature, we do a thorough review," NFL spokesman Michael Signora said.
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin complained after the game that headset problems repeatedly happen to his team in New England. The headset and audio communications devices are managed by the NFL.
