An NFL defensive lineman most recently with the New England Patriots suffered a knife wound Wednesday after an alleged dispute with his girlfriend at their apartment.
According to a police report filed Thursday, 27-year-old Frank Kearse was treated at hospitals in Attleboro, Massachusetts, and Providence, Rhode Island, for a knife wound to his upper abdomen.
According to the Attleboro Sun Chronicle, the incident occured when the two were arguing while moving boxes. Both had initially told police that Kearse had suffered the injury handling a box containing knives, but Hooper allegedly began to cry and admitted to brandishing the knife.
