Shortly after the conclusion of the 2024 NFL Draft, we learned that the Buffalo Bills rejected a trade with the New England Patriots for the No. 32 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
New England was reportedly targeting Xavier Legette or Keon Coleman. Legette landed with the Carolina Panthers at pick 32, and Buffalo would kick off night two of the draft selecting Keon Coleman.
With their top two options off the board, New England ultimately traded down from pick 34. They would land Ja’Lynn Polk with their second round pick and Javon Baker with a fourth round pick that they acquired in the trade down.
