NFL insider believes forgotten rookie still Patriots' most talented WR

Hopes are still high for New England Patriots second-year wideout Javon Baker after a disappointing rookie campaign in 2024.

A league source familiar with the Patriots' roster still believes the UCF product is the team’s most talented wideout, per Boston Herald's Andrew Callahan and Doug Kyed.

Baker only recorded one catch for 12 yards in 2024. He had four total targets all year, with all of them coming late in the season. The Patriots hoped he'd make an impact right out of the gates, along with fellow rookie Ja'Lynn Polk, but the two receivers barely got on the field.
